Purpose: This plugin evaluate the COvariancE of Lucky Images for increasing contrast and resolution of astronomical

binary objects. Reduces a stack of raw Lucky Images by first re-centering them with respect to the maximum and then evaluate the covariance. You can find a theoretical treatment of it in:

Usage: Open a stack of Lucky Images and select an area to look for the maximum to be recentered (See Figure). Then call this macro from the menu.

 

Installation: Copy the file ij_COELI.txt to your ImageJ plugins folder (ex: C:\Program Files\ImageJ\plugins) and restart ImageJ.
